Private Multi Engine Rating Add On
This course is designed for pilots who already hold a Private Pilot Certificate and want to add a multi-engine rating to their license. Students learn the fundamental differences between single and multi-engine aircraft, with a strong focus on aerodynamics, systems, and emergency procedures specific to twins — most critically, engine-out operations and single-engine performance. The course involves 3 hours of ground instruction, a day 1 all day ground school, and 10 hours of flight training including the practical exam with our in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

This course is designed for pilots who already hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate and are looking to add a multi-engine class rating. Building on existing commercial-level skills, students dive into the finer details of multi-engine aerodynamics, aircraft systems, and performance, with an emphasis on meeting the precise standards required of professional pilots. Training covers critical areas such as Vmc demonstrations, engine-out emergencies, single-engine performance planning, and multi-engine aircraft systems. The course involves 3 hours of ground instruction, a day 1 all day ground school, and 10 hours of flight training including the practical exam with our in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

This course is designed for Certificated Flight Instructors who wish to add a multi-engine instructor rating to their existing CFI certificate. Students learn how to effectively teach multi-engine aerodynamics, systems, and procedures from the right seat, with a strong focus on how to safely demonstrate and debrief critical maneuvers such as Vmc demonstrations and engine-out emergencies. The course emphasizes instructor techniques specific to multi-engine training, including how to manage and mitigate risk while teaching in a twin. The course involves 3 hours of ground instruction, a day 1 all day ground school, and 10 hours of flight training including the practical exam with our in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.
