This course is designed for pilots who already hold a Private Pilot Certificate and want to add a multi-engine rating to their license. Students learn the fundamental differences between single and multi-engine aircraft, with a strong focus on aerodynamics, systems, and emergency procedures specific to twins — most critically, engine-out operations and single-engine performance. The course involves 3 hours of ground instruction, a day 1 all day ground school, and 10 hours of flight training including the practical exam with our in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

The course involves 3 hours of ground instruction, a day 1 all day ground school, and 10 hours of flight training including the practical exam with our in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

The course emphasizes instructor techniques specific to multi-engine training, including how to manage and mitigate risk while teaching in a twin. The course involves 3 hours of ground instruction, a day 1 all day ground school, and 10 hours of flight training including the practical exam with our in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.
